Modbus™ RTU, BACnet™ MS/TP, and Sylk™ enable future firmware updates and enhanced functionality. The Honeywell TR100 works with Honeywell and third‑party controllers and is not based on proprietary protocols. Its capacitive touchscreen interface allows easy configuration with minimal installation training, and embedded help screens make setup intuitive.

The TR100 is open protocol and connects to controllers using BACnet™ MS/TP, Modbus™ RTU, and Sylk™.

TR100 Wall Module — Replaceability & Feature Comparison
Replaceability
TR42, TR42-H, TR42-CO₂, TR42-H-CO₂, TR75, TR75-H, TR71, TR71-H, TR71-TH, TR120, TR120-H, TR120-TH wall modules wired to controllers can be directly replaced by TR100-T-G, TR100-TH-G, or TR100-THC-G. Simply remove the old wall module and install the new one (including new backplate). Backplate sizes and mounting holes are identical.
The TR100 accepts TR42 or TR75 file configurations (proxy file) downloaded from the existing controller and provides the same configuration and functionality with a modern touchscreen interface. TR100 modules can directly accept TR42 or TR75 application downloads without modifications in the controller or engineering tool.
