Application and use
iSMA-D-PA7-B is a new-generation 7" industrial HMI panel running on Android 14, designed for reliable 24/7 operation in demanding industrial environments, featuring IP65-rated front panel. Powered by a quad-core processor and 4 GB of RAM, the panel is designed to provide an optimal performance for building automation and control applications requiring responsive, local visualization.
The PA7 panel is ideal for integration with controllers equipped with HTML5 web servers, providing a high-performance local HMI interface. Controllers such as MAC36PRO, JACE-9000, or others powered by Niagara and IP-enabled devices can be connected via Ethernet, enabling a smooth display of controller-stored graphics and dashboards.
The panel is equipped with the iC SmartView platform, exclusive to iC HMI panels. It allows for a quick setup, visualization, and management through an intuitive interface. iC SmartView includes a kiosk mode, auto-login to one or multiple stations, and a home station feature that ensures automatic reconnection after a power cycle. A 16:9 aspect ratio and 1024x600 resolution ensure high readability, with a pinch-to-zoom support for convenient navigation of graphical interfaces.
The panel is designed for flush mounting in control cabinets but is also VESA compliant, allowing wall installation when required. The configuration menu is available in seven languages, enabling easy customization of displayed content. The product is supplied with EU, UK, or US power adapters.
